Viel ist passiert, aber wenig davon war sch\u00f6n. Es ist ein richtig verschissenes Jahr.<\/p>\n<p>So freut man sich tats\u00e4chlich noch mehr auf die Sommerferien, die wir dieses Jahr nicht gross geplant haben. Angedacht waren 10 Tage England. Wir wollten Ian nach deinen Sprachferien in England direkt abholen und noch ein paar Tage herumfahren. Da aber Ian nicht mit seinem Freund zusammenwohnen durfte, platzten die Sprachferien. So buchten wir halt spontan unsere Fl\u00fcge um und reservierten f\u00fcr 10 Tage ein paar B+B&#8217;s in Cornwall. Kurz vor den Ferien verstarb leider noch ein guter Namensvetter von mir. May he rest in peace. We&#8217;ll never forget you, Jimmy ! Wie gesagt, es ist ein bitteres Jahr.<\/p>\n<p>Die erste Nacht verbrachten wir in Paignton. Auf dem Weg zur zweiten Unterkunft besuchten wir Padstow und Newquay. Cornwall gef\u00e4llt uns ausserordentlich gut. wir zwei Mal in einem urchigen alten Haus in the middle of nowhere &#8230; called &#8222;The Waterwheel Inn&#8220;.\u00a0 Super Zimmer, gutes Essen, aber mini Badezimmer. Ihnen Ferien machten. Es war ein super Tag in Looe, den wir mit ihnen verbringen durften. Viel gelacht, zwei Geocaches gefunden und noch gut gegessen. Es war ein fabelhafter Tag. Besonders lustig war, dass der Kapit\u00e4n der Bootsfahrt sich gewundert hat, warum wir nicht losfahren konnten am Anfang. Er meinte, vielleicht seien wir noch zu schwer &#8230; ich habe ihm dann das Seil gezeigt, an dem das Boot noch angebunden war &#8230; wir haben, wie gesagt, viel gelacht an diesem Tag Aus Zeitgr\u00fcnden konnten wir nat\u00fcrlich nicht alles machen, aber einiges konnten wir anschauen gehen. Cornwall ist wirklich wunderbar.<\/p>\n<p>Zuerst fuhren wir zur Sennen Cove und wanderten bzw. spazierten wir nach Land&#8217;s End, dem s\u00fcdwestlichsten Punkt von England. Ein angenehmer Walk in fantastischer Umgebung bei bestem Wetter. Das muss man mal gesehen haben. Ein kleines Fischerdorf, das, wenn man die Touristen wegbeamt, den Charakter eines kleinen Dorfes gut erhalten hat. Wir w\u00fcrden bei einem erneuten Besuch St. Yves bzw. Vor Ort angekommen, k\u00e4mpften wir um einen Parkplatz und das ziemlich weit vom Hafen weg. Dann gings rassig Richtung Hafen, kurz noch was getrunken und wieder zur\u00fcck. Es war einmal &#8230; sch\u00f6ner hier fr\u00fcher. Das kann man getrost sagen. Trotzdem ist es immer noch einen Besuch wert. Cornwall f\u00fchrte uns zum s\u00fcdlichsten Punkt von England, dem Lizard Point. Die Strassen sind so eng, dass man nicht an entgegenkommenden Autos vorbeikommt, wenn man nicht ganz genau am Rand f\u00e4hrt. Es ist immer eine Freude, die beiden zu treffen.
